Hot Fresco Pottery

Artisan Mitch Young designs and creates unique potter.  Their pottery is made completely by hand in our studio in Hollister, Missouri. “By hand” means it is “thrown” on a potters wheel or formed in another way, such as hand-built from slabs of clay. Each item is made one at a time. They are trimmed, glazed, painted and finished all by hand. Because of this, each piece is unique and unlike any other. This pottery is very durable and chip-resistant and will last indefinitely under normal use. No lead or otherwise toxic materials are used in their  glazes or processes.
